Going to Riverlands Brewery tonight, in St. Charles, Illinois. He was a local homebrewer and went pro. Tonight is the grand opening. I cant wait to support this guy's venture, (mainly cause i'm jealous and don't have the stones or financing to open my own business.....)

Went to Memphis beginning of February and visited Wisecare Brewery. The set up is nice and had a boatload of people.

Will be in NOLA middle of April and will be visiting several of the breweries. Been to these before and enjoy going.

Heading to Great Dane Brewery (Doty St. location) in Madison, WI tonight for the new collaboration beer release. Nick, of Barrel & Beam, Marquette, Michigan (Yupper land) worked with Brewmaster Michael of the Great Dane for the release of French Farmhouse Ale.

The Barrel & Beam was one of our discoveries this past October while cruising the upper peninsula to enjoy fall colors. B&B has quickly risen to the top of one of our favorite all-time brewery finds. Although my friend and I have different tastes in beers - we both found a number of beers to our liking. We look forward to trying out the "reunion" beer, as Nick had his start at the Great Dane.

At the end of March, we are heading to Kalamazoo on our way back from a Detroit area wedding. Bell's Porter is one of my favorites, and my traveling companion has long been a fan of Bell's Two Hearted Ale. If there are any other must stop breweries in Kalamazoo (I counted at least 12) - shout them out!

Headed down from Tahoe in a bit. May have to check this out.

Was a bit north yesterday, so hit a couple breweries I wouldn't regularly get to: Northway Brewing and Common Roots. The former is just ok; the latter is a very good place if you're ever in this part of upstate NY (Glens Falls). IMO their sours are hit or miss, but overall it's pretty high quality. Nice place, been there a few times.

Missed Loomis due to someone driving 80 during a snowstorm and causing an accident. Hit up Out of Bounds today to makeup for it

Did a little brewery tour a bit south of me today: Old York distillery (great cocktails and overall experience; highly recommended, though not cheap), hudson brewing (decent beers, but the smoked porter, like most, was lacking in actual smoke character), and crossroads brewing (been awhile, but I've always loved this place; this trip was a bit lackluster, especially on the food front).

Urban Roots in Sacramento. Very good food, beer was decent to really good depending on style. Didn’t bother to take many photos. Atmosphere was energetic and fun.

Palm tree brewing in Orangevale. The 13% imperial cream ale is so damn drinkable. Beers range from good to great
And I thought my local place was crazy for having a 10.5% imperial cream ale, wowza.
