Palm Tree Brewing, IPA in Orangevale, CA

Blue Blood Brewery (Lincoln NE)just opened in the last few years. Built on top of Robbers Cave that was once a brewery back in the 1860's for a short time. They give tours of the brew house and cave system several times a week. The caves have been used for everything from barrel aging beers, college fraternity events, dances, movie showings and Halloween parties. The caves are also home to some endangered bats. Part of the cave complex is still submerged in sand deposited during flooding sometime in the past. Good beer, at least the ones I had time try.

A new brewery called Beat Culture has just opened near the Miami Airport. My homebrew club is now meeting there as the owner/brewer Erik was a club member. That's Erik talking about what it takes to go commercial. Very interesting.

Sounds very cool, will have to make the trip the next time I visit Omaha.

All those summers spent in Lincoln, never been to Robbers cave. Grandparents lived right across the street from Southeast on Van Dorn for 50+ years too.

Good Bye North x Northwest (South Austin location). Only my 3rd time here anyway, beers are meh. Tripel, couple ipas and milk stout.

Havent had that one. Whats the verdict?

The Oatmeal Porter was just released today. It seems to be missing something. Maybe just more time in keg?

The 224 ne Pale Ale is dry and has a lot of citrus. Very good. This beer tastes very similar to a beer I had Monday at Moksa Brewing.

Was hoping they had a WC ipa ontap but no such luck.

Will try their Ne ipa next.
