Anyone have any suggestions for a good beer to pair the following dessert with?
Chocolate pudding with pistachio, white chocolate powder, pear

Ready go!

Sounds like a porter to me, which one or style I am stretching beyond my knowledge. Just starting to appreciate porters nyself

I would probably go with a Belgian Tripel. Light and carbed up should work with the sweet fruity desert.

I believe it will be mostly chocolate forward with a slight bit of pear flavor

I'd go with a Russian Imperial Stout. You could do worse than Old Rasputin!

Belgian tripels are hoppier. A double with the dark fruit flavors might be better. Checkout Michael Jackson's beer hunter in Belgium. Or a chocolaty stout maybe.

Dubbel. You don't want to overwhelm the pear or white chocolate, but the toffee and dark fruit flavors will enhance and compliment everything.
