So I brewed what was labeled to be a pilsner from true brew..but I don't really think that's what this is. The ingredients were 1 oz cascade hop pellets, 1 oz cascade hop leaves, 3.3 pounds light LME, 2 pounds light DME, and Muntons ale yeast. Can anyone help name this beer?

As far as a name maybe Duchess of New York or something like that? Where do ya live, you could maybe come up with something clever based on that.

True Pilsners which are a lager are beyond the capabilities of most novice homebrewers so the kit makers offer a lager like ale. It is a bit deceptive.

It would more accurately be descriped as a blonde or extra pale ale.

In answer to hunter I would say that it is lighting. A brew in a carboy will look a lot darker than in a glass. My extra pale ales look that dark in a carboy with the lighting from behind me.
