Show it! Pedicle! Pedicle! Pedicle! So I left my last HB to settle out in the Fermonster for the last 4-5 months... (horror!!) It was a Belgian Dubbel Sour to start, then life got in the way...and I simply didn't touch it. I won't show pics of the 'pedicle' (spelling) because it's a bit scary. I chose not to carbonate.
Wow...it's sour, and it's definitely a Belgian Dubbel...but it almost tastes like a port. Incredible. Very strong, and the last abv-ish reading was 11.9% a month ago. Not sure if I could do this again in my small home ( too impatient!!! ) but I'm pretty happy with this beerxperiment. Cheers!! I might have two!

So much. Pilsner and Munich, plus little bits of pale chocolate, chocolate rye, and Simpsons DRC.That looks delicious
How doers this taste? I love the substitutions!8% ABV saison, "open" fermented with a mix of dupont and French yeast strains, jaggery in place of candi syrup, and a wee bit of pepper, coriander and orange zest.

Was going to "like" but didn't seem appropriate. My wife and I lost our first pet together about 6 years ago at the age of 10. Peekapoo named Hemi because I'm a car guy and Hemingway is her favorite authorView attachment 778886View attachment 778885Enjoying this delicious beer from The Veil, Crucial Taunt 4. It’s
Perfect beer to toast to our cat Jada who crossed the rainbow bridge today. Jada was the first pet my wife and I got together. She’s been with us since our first place together, before we got married and had children. It’s been a rough day but Jada lived a long life, she was 18 years old. Cheers kitty!

It is very Belgiany, thirst quenching despite the booze. Probably could due with being a little drier on the finish. The base recipe is Drew Beechum's Saison Ete.How doers this taste? I love the substitutions!
