I’ve been digging these lately

'Celestial' Blueberry Lemon Sour by another local, Zero Issue Brewing. Their sours are always really good, and this is no exception!

Just enough sweet from the blueberry, tons of lemon taste and aroma and a tasty biscuit malt flavour at the finish. Might have to buy a few of these 4-packs, because the best issues never last forever. Cheers! :mug: 🍋 🍻

I get the "meat coma" humor but tiredness only from meat doesn't exist, technically. Sugars and other high-carb items are the culprit.

Now I have to decide on an after dinner drink.
You can’t go wrong with another Cold Smoke. You can’t buy it here in Boise, but it pays having friends and relatives that often do a Montana run and pick some up!

I poured this eleven minutes ago and it illustrates why I think malted wheat is a superior adjunct in a stout than flaked barley. Both are flavor neutral in a stout, but wheat does this.

It’s a NW style stout from the early 90’s but with the C-40 dialed back to keep it dry.
