Hopefully this beer from @Noob_Brewer keeps me calm so I don’t lose my sh!t trying to pull all this pachysandra..View attachment 726930
Don't sweat it man, that stuff will STILL be around when your kids are older too! Only difference will be that you will be holding a beer while THEY are doing the pulling!

Pretty good. Azacca, Galaxy, Citra Lupomax, & Revolution Blend. Kind of get a singular profile out of this, but its good.

I bought some BSG Sequoia blend to try in the next IPA. Like the concept. See how it fans out. I was always a Falconer's Flight fan.

Do you know what makes up the Sequoia blend? BSG doesn't post it. Annoying. the revolution blend is all NZ hops (Nelson, motueka, pacific sunrise, and riwaka).

There are a lot of hops claiming pineapple-mango (mosaic/citra blend) but Simcoe possibly for piney. I'm using Barbarian yeast also. @Dgallo might have a better idea.

Had just enough of my Grapefruit NEIPA for a glass at the end of bottling, and even though it's not carbonated, I'm liking the colour and opacity. The taste/smell is incredible, and no real hop burn. It's pretty strong as well (approx 8.2%) so I'm feeling this already! Nice! :mug:

I think I'll add more base/flavour malts the next run, as it gets a little lost in the grapefruit flavour, although the extra oats did help...and a filter during priming really helped this beer out. Cannot wait for it to carb up!! Very happy! :D

Thats a great color man! Congrats!

Thanks a bunch, @Noob_Brewer ! It's going to be a regular brew now, methinks. I just have to tweak the grains and/or extract a bit for my setup. Cannot wait for a carbed sip, and hopefully it'll be in the sunshine.

Cheers! 🍻 😁

Think how long it took before power tools.
That’s the truth. By my estimate, my barn is 115+ years old and I’d guess the door I replaced was original construction. It was south facing to boot and weathered and broken. I used the wood shapers at my brother’s cabinet shop to tongue and groove the boards and assembled every thing with a cordless drill and screws. The price of lumber and hardware now is ridiculous too!! Relaxing with a HB Bohemian black lager now. And my handy work.

Yeah lumber is absolutely insane right now. We have to replace our cellar doors and its most likely going to cost about 500% more than it would have like 15 months ago. But it needs to get done sooner rather than later (plus i'm going to die on the stairs if they don't get replaced as well).
I have two uncles that are pretty insanely good at woodworking. They make all sorts of little knick knacks for church festivals and such. The one was absolutely addicted to that Woodwright's Shop tv show that used to air on PBS. The number of times I sat in my grandparents living room with glossy eyes having to watch that while a perfectly good Nintendo sat unused...
