One of the best sours I've ever had.

That beer is in my all time top 5. Their Hibernator may be my favorite. It's since been discontinued...
Time to pick out a stain.

Skinny planks, clear (imo)
Didn't know they distributed that far away.
Damn drank half, little boozy and then looked at ABV. Guess it’s going to be one of those nights!
What? No one told me it’s National Beer For Breakfast day.

Stopped at local Humdinger Brewing after work to take home some verde pork belly nachos with white beans, and a crowler of Night Grinder, golden coffee stout.

They’re hanging in there. They’ve got 12 of their beers currently on tap, and a lot of their food is restaurant quality, so they get a fair amount of to-go business, which I assume keeps them afloat.Glad to see your buddy is still around in the California business environment. Are you getting involved in the Pliny the Younger box in February? Looking at having one shipped to SLO for whenever I get there next year.
Long story but I have to brew this way. Not the norm for sure. This is the HB Mango/Jalapeno hard lemonade, 7%ish, bottled earlier today.

I guess we are approaching PtY time. The past couple years it’s been available on tap at several local bars, and I’ve had no trouble getting several pints of it. But I have no idea how that’ll shake out this February with the whole COVID thing. It’s quite good, better than PtE in my opinion, but if I can’t get any of this time around I’ll be okay with that. The thrill of the hunt is not what it once was. But I’m still going to keep my eyes open for it.
WCIPA's are just not my thing, in general. I like some, but for the most part they're pretty far down on my list of beers to order when I'm out somewhere. Somewhat blasphemous around these parts, where they reign supreme, but I'm originally from the east coast so I don't care. I find neipa's far more interesting for the most part. In fact give me a good pilsner, red ale, brown ale, porter, or stout and I'll reach for it every time over a wcipa. All imo of course.PtE is kinda weird to me. First time I had it, probably 9-10yrs ago, it was so floral just a wonderful experience. Everyone I had after was more like a typical WC bitter bomb, even newly bottled so IDK. The clones I've made, the beer buds enjoyed and a different experience from the regular, but that was years ago also.
Cali action...

Not it, but that was a good one.KRAMPUS!!!! Think this is from @fourfarthing from last year. It is very good. Maybe another year of age to mellow out the oak for me, but I’m not afraid!
