Opened the first full bottle of Mrs. BY’s Imperial Coffee Stout, her first ever homebrew, brewed about 6months ago. Absolutely no carbonation, and very little coffee flavor, but it’s still an excellent tasting stout. About two months ago we opened a partially filled bottle (we were only able to squeak out about 10 of the 16 oz when bottling that last one). That one was fully carbed so I’m hoping today’s just didn’t seal perfectly. I’d like to eventually brew a full 5 gallon batch of this and long term age it in a corny keg so I can perfectly dial in the carb level.
