HB Pliny clone while waiting on the mash for my Chewy Caribou Slobber. Even managed to budget in a new 6 gallon plastic carboy to ferment it in, since my big glass one is being occupied by a lager....much improved in health husband off to Costco for cheap pizza to eat while I brew. Smell coming off the mash tun is amazing!!

This is the first time I tried one of their stouts and damn is it good. I only picked up two cans when I was there a couple of weeks ago. One for me to enjoy and one for my father in-law and mother in-law to share after traveling all over the US to be there to see there new grandkids. FL -> SF -> FL -> NY -> TX -> NY My wife and I are done, so it’s not us having anymore babies but our girls were their first grandkids.

But we could work something out if you would like. I’ll be down there next month and if they have another Stout like that I’ll let you know. They make killer IPAs too! If you’re on Untappd you can see some of their other beers I’ve had. Same user name.

Lagunitas Lucky 13, bottled the 71st day of 2018 by the date on the bottle. My dad picked it up for me at the World Market in KC.

In the background is a Simpler Times Lager from Trader Joe's, also from my dad while he was in KC, which I drank earlier after cleaning the gutters (dang white maples!!!).

Need to brew a batch for the old man after all the brews he's treated me to...
