I thought I had mono once, turns out I was just really bored.
I'd also like to add that I've got my father's gun and a scorching case of herpes.

Do you do venison jerky? If so, ISO
I just might know of someone who made 12.5 lbs of venison jerky a couple weeks ago.![]()

If it isn't gone by now, you're doing it wrong.
Best jerky I ever had was some venison my buddy's dad made back in college. Yummm.

WTF is going on with Tallgrass, @finsfan ?!
Is it run by a bunch of bipolarbears on PCP laced coke?
Seems like they change their minds every few quarters with "a major overhaul".
Love their stuff but they keep taking away great beer for reasons that sound like "me too!"
I'm just happy Zombie Monkey is safe...for now.
Rant over.

idk man. I read an article about it last night actually. Gill claims that the ever shrinking shelf space is the reason for cutting back on their regular beers (currently 10), adding some new ones and only having 8. He said it was like sharpening the blades, or putting out better product. What i dont get it is they just put out 16-bit and now its being retired. Did they not see the shrinking shelf space 10-12 months ago? What about just having those type of beers be one time releases instead of full time for 9 months? Their saisons also confuse me. They tried a plum saison, a ginger peach saison, and both kinda failed for different reasons. Then they had been making a killer saison down at the taphouse, yet the one they are releasing in cans is different. I would have went with the one that was constantly sold out and you already knew people liked at the taphouse. Itll be interesting to see how they continue to grow though. I completely understand the need to stay relevant in the craft beer market today and the growing need to always put out new product. It sucks they are killing some of their beers though.
tldr
Coffee after busting out the snowblower for about 13 inches last night. Supposed to get 2-4 more by this afternoon.

I dont see why limit amount of beers you put out. I think you should take as much space and keep the quality up at the same time. I havent had any of the saisons yet but some of the variants doesnt sound too appealing and for the masses with marketing words. Guess the 16-bit didnt sell well. i got some and it was impressive. Though it was a DIPA but its just a pale ale.
we are at about 8 inches at my house with another 4 hours of snow to come. Might delay your box of CS for a day or two.
Kids got a snow day, I'm working from home. They have already been sent to their rooms twice...
on the coffee - beer after i get the driveway shoveled.
Id like to sample some of that, if you have enough

This. Except I don't have kids and I get a snow day from work. So... I guess that means afternoon coffee?

I've seen / heard several reports that a lot of craft breweries are going to have to cut back on their selection due to new calorie count law going into effect next year. Not sure if Tallgrass is distro-ing to chains with more than 20 locations, but maybe that is in the mix..

I liked 16-bit, sad to see it go. Hopefully I will be able to grab some next week when in Omaha.
Need some advise for a non liquor drinker. My cousin is getting married this weekend and part of the wedding gift was a flask. he said we are to fill them to carry. I have no idea what to put in it, as i am mostly a beer drinker. I know i hate jeager, anything that tastes like licorice, tequila and especially gin. any ideas?
on topic... coffee and water

Bourbon or Scotch. Not the cheap **** either.

I'll put bourbon if I was you. Just get a decent bottle of bourbon like rowan's creek. Love that bourbon
Can't go wrong with whiskey/whisky of whichever form you choose. I know a lot of these folks like their Bourbon, which I'm not partial to. Personally I'd go with Scotch or Irish.
+1 A nice single malt would be my recommendation
i was actually thinking jameson or scotch. not trying to go broke with a single malt haha

thanks fellas
There is some good single malt for around $30-40. Not a bank breaker.
If you feel like a really nice Irish whiskey (would run circles around Jameson), for about the same price as an entry level single malt (ie not cheap but not SUPER expensive), go with Redbreast. It's fantastic stuff.
He's in PA, out pickins are slim for Scotch and those are limited to the main commercial brands that are more on the expensive side. Id opt for Art in the Age of Root. 30.00, goes down smooth and great with a bit of ice. Its certainly different.
