Coffee. Only had one beer all weekend. Wore myself out, had to scrape and paint the garage and moved a bunch more furniture to the new house. Maybe move in for good next weekend. I think stout season starts tonight at my house.

Coffee. Surprisingly chipper this morning. Going to run a few errands, then bottle my Dry Stout, then hit the gym prior to judging my club's mead/cider comp this evening. Stupid Wyeast stopping making 1338 meant I had to buy WLP011 from my LHBS, and at my LHBS White Labs vials are all significantly older (~30% viable instead of ~75% viable). What should have been a small 24 hour 1L starter for a brew day today is now a 3L starter that I'll have to ferment out, cold crash, decant, so the Gruit is pushed to Thursday. Still brewing my Porter tomorrow though, when I have less to get done.

It'll be difficult to sell out but i'll probably do the same thing especially 1 billion. Money and you still "own/run" your brewery. I do not blame the companies. I see why they do it. Just happening alot this year.

My intention this morning was to pack up some beer for you, and pack up an eMaw.... Instead, I opted to drink till I pass out. Need to find a work life balance with my new third shift job and the balance had been leaning too far to the square side. Needed to be morning drunk to even things out. Mission accomplished.

On topic, enjoying the hell out of the second pour of an oec sour.

It is very good. Might be better with more age, but I will never know! It is thicker and heavier than a lot of the similar abv BBA stouts that people covet. Think of it as different but equal to the bigger breweries annual releases.... But... It costs more than those do.

French press as I get my head back into work mode. Have to pick up the dog and grocery shop over lunch so this day is going to be a crazy one.

Well it was a good night of cigars and booze. The beer was split 3 ways (I didn't dare tackle that one alone) and after that we switched to whiskey and rum. It was an awesome night and it only took me a little over a day to get rid of the hangover completely. lol.

On the espresso. Almost out of home roast, time to place another order.
