Wow... It is like everyone is asleep.

Local-ish, localer with a side of fat, and back at the hotel with local-ish.

The fresh San Miguel is pretty darn good in the heat.

Sok, I am drinking dunkin donuts coffee and envying the contents of your last two posts. Today may be the first day this week where I get to go straight home after work and relax some.

Wait, nope, gotta pick up a new front tire for the motorcycle and install it. The other one has gone almost completely bald on me. At least I will be able to drink a beer today while working on it.

Can you guess what's in my cup, huh?

Is that WW Pernicious? What did you think of that? I thought it was a little... floral? It wasn't bad, but not great.

Their Tyranny was pretty good though.

That was Medora. It was good, fruity. I had a 32 oz growler of my home brewed quad as well.

Coffee & water. I need to kill the mid-week drink fests.

Got all stressed out for interview. Ended up going amazing. Something I could finally be passionate about and love waking up for. Just, have to hope I beat out the other two guys that applied.

Lots of bottling to do and need to brew again, now that I finally have HB in the house.
Coffee.

A subtle fix :goat:

Same field?

Well done.

Uh, less engineers, more architects. So hopeful.

I can't really say from too much experience, but it seems that you would have more of a creative job with an architecture firm then with an engineering firm. If I had to write a spec as an engineer I'm fairly certain I'd do a high dive from a very tall building. That seems extremely tedious

It's bad. I took this job straight out of college because I told guy in interview, "I hate engineers and have no idea what these things are you make." and he decided I was perfect fit. Just nothing to be passionate about here. Excited for this opportunity.

Won't get to annoy the hell out of you guys all day any more if I get it. So, that will be nice.

Congrats to us!

Coffee. Trying to convince myself not to buy beer today. I'm not very convincing. Sales has never been a strong suit for me.

They are loosing ground so they are buying what they can. They approached DFH and Cigar City. Just trying to fool people like blue moon and Goose Island. Plus AB-Imbev is in talks to buy Miller/coors

An economist commented on the ab-inbev, Millel/cors "merger" and seems to think Ab-inbev does not have the money to make it happen with all their recent purchases of craft breweries. Then went on to speculate that it would never get approval unless both sides sold off parts of their other brands (meaning their craft breweries). However what do i know I am just a home brewer passing on info from the internet.

OT Coffee

I cant see the DOJ allowing that merger. They hold too much of the market for other companies to compete with them (which now they cant)

But these are internationally based conglomerates. I dont really think the DOJ has the right to regulate them. Water. Hydrating. I have beer to drink tonight.

Within the USA i'm sure they can. They need approval from where ever they operate if it has laws regarding monopoly

Yay, even more major road closures for Pope-aggedon next week. I may just get out of dodge... 676, 76, 95, the bridge, everything down town, closed. Work is closed Friday and Monday. The only draw back is out go-to, down the shore, is Irish Weekend. I'm screwed with major crowds either way lol

Barricade yourself in your cellar and don't come up for air until Monday!

I read an article the other day that said even with the merger, they would only have about half the market. I figured it would be much higher but I havent looked more into that number to see if it was true or not.

That's globally. Closer to 75% in the U.S.

From memory don't quote me.

Or do.

Water.

Water. Just had a conference call on how our company is changing to use Net Promoter Score for our customer service survey. Anyone have experience with this program?

Sweet... Bottle shop dude has got the Breakfast stout on order, holding 3 4 packs for me.

Can't be worse than the e-mail I just got from a PMP...laying paragraphs down like it were a teen texting.

Great workout. Water and pork tenderloin for lunch.
