Congrats on the honeymoon!

i have tomorrow off. I'll be at la columbe coffee house in fishtown watching their rum distilling and buying a bottle or two, depending on what they have left. Then off to yards for a tour. Then maybe bacon. Doubt it, but maybe.
(the rum is aged for 9 months in the barrel with coffee bean. God damn it, get in ma belly!)

I had a lady picking up a prescription for her dog last week and we didn't have the medication. Her response was "oh no he needs it, he's sicker than a dog!"

Can dogs be sicker than a dog? She was on the verge of tears so I didn't chime in.

Drinking some green tea.

Maybe some breeds get sicker than others? I don't know, I'll have to elevate this one up the chain of command...

Those IPAs tho, amirightguys?

Second Coff.

Just went to grab some more Hag. Asked about KBS and the guy at the store said two cases had come in yesterday and sold out in 45 minutes. He laughed when I asked him about it. I laughed harder.

And today you all learned that I am the world's worst catholic! I forgot about Good Friday. haha

2 cases at the bottle shop I frequent were gone in under an hour. Looks like 2 cases were all many got with exception of a shop that is selling theirs Saturday. I'll be far away from that noise.

Forget that noise, look around for Weyerbacher Sunday Morning Stout. They hype train hasn't left the station on that brew yet, so you may still be able to find it out there...its cheaper, has better availability and is better then KBS, IMO. I'll even go so far on as saying that if you buy it in bulk and you don't like it, I'll buy it back from you :mug:

So far I was told it came and went. I too have heard it was better than KBS. The minute that was said, they flew off the shelves.

It's much easier to find beer if you drink beer that nobody else likes. Just a thought.

Going to get more coffee and glare at all the people shoving donuts in their face.

It's much easier to cut the crap, make and drink beer you really like.

I'm putting together a recipe right now for my next brew day. I've neglected my oak barrel for months. Something needs to go into it.

Careful what you wish for. I'm back in bed sick as a dog.

How sick are dogs anyway?

Now you'll be too sick to drink once lent is over. See, nothing good comes from not drinking.

That rum sounds awesome.

That rum sounds awesome.

it is, I promise. They are talking about expanding it, but you can only get it currently if you live in the city or NJ through direct sale with the café online or in the actual shop. Its a rum for bourbon drinkers.

Well they are known to eat poo... Soo I would say some dogs are pretty sick in the head at least.

Water. I have to be productive for a few hrs around the house today before I can start drinking

Coffee. No work for me today. Took the day off to take my wife for full wisdom teeth extraction (all of em) this morning, and to make sure she doesn't bite her tongue or something after she's up from anesthesia. But that means brew day this afternoon.

Oh man, I had my wisdom teeth taken out about 15 yrs ago and I still remember it and the two weeks of misery that followed like it was yesterday. You better stock up on beer for you and get her pain prescription filled while she's out, yall are gonna need them both to survive this next couple of days.

lol I remember getting mine out at the Navy hospital down in NC. I remember still being heavily sedated, walking down the steps, lighting a smoke and telling a Colonel to go F' himself for yelling at me for smoking in the hospital. My friend got seriously chewed out for letting me do it.
Good times.

I may have watched every single Friday the 13th movie, followed by every Nightmare on Elm Street movie when I had mine out while being served ice cream. Also may have milked it an extra day or two but I can neither confirm or deny that information.

They wanted to remove mine in BC, I denied their request. I was not going to be a guinea pig for some government dentist trainee.

I still have all of my wisdom teeth and have had zero issue.

Negative, i'll will be drinking sunday even if I have to immediately throw it back up.

Give it a year or two...we are ahead of the curve on it :D

So you like it before it's cool, huh?

Well they are known to eat poo... Soo I would say some dogs are pretty sick in the head at least.

I will avoid that in the future. Never want to be sick like a dog...

I still have to get mine out soon. Its going to suck. That will be 8 teeth pulled. The first 4 was moved for room though I still did not have enough.

Don't do what I did. I had a Snapple the morning of the procedure and my mom sold me out. They couldn't put me under, so I had to have all four, impacted wisdom teeth pulled with a few shots of novacaine. I now follow doctors orders...

I really think it depends on the dentist for having teeth extracted. I had all 4 impacted and pulled when I was younger. Hardly any recovery time. My wife has had two or three taken out and it was a huge hassle each time.

Drinking water to stay on topic.

The boss took me out for drinks on lunch today and then decided one was enough so we could get back and finish up at work to shut down early. I like the idea, but he just lit the fire...

edit: oh and before being scolded by the thread police, had a Hamburg Brewing Co. Irish Red for the first time.

Went back to Wegmans to see if the missing KBS got delivered today as they hoped. It was. Unfortunately a crowd of clowns was there waiting and bought it all ... :(

Dude, sick Trillium shirt! Looking good! Cheers! /darvoice
