Sampled my first bottle of Apfelwein for the 2014 season. It has been 7.5 months coming, and I must say it was well worth the wait. I ended up a hair over 9.5% on the ABV, but the heavy alcohol bite is not present. I will definitely have to pace myself with these.

I had a kegging sample of my ESB and now, since the bottling operations on my sour on hold for the day (broken bottling bucket valve), I am having a Skull Splitter for the first time. Doesn't say on the bottle, but it tastes like an old ale. I like it.
