You don't brew sours, do you? Doesn't that stuff taint your equipment forevermore?
To a degree, yes. I now have three fermenters designated to sours but the big thing is bottling equipment and hoses. Everything I use in the sours are sour only. You could clean glass fermenters and reuse them for regular beers, but I won't take that chance.
