I'll have a couple HBs ready and need to sample one this weekend to see if it's ready to bottle.

Is Wes around then too? Or just for the weekend?

Let me know if either of you guys want anything specific from my neck of the woods. Otherwise I'll grab a couple surprises.

He should be there Monday but I don't know how long. Too bad none of my sours are ready. One is ready to bottle. I need to try my Brett to see how it is

Sent from the town of Rock Ridge. "Excuse me while I whip this out"

MIL watched the 3 y/o today & let him take a 3 hour nap. right now I'm drinking in the sweet sweet sounds of an overly sensitive screaming 3 y/o. I think I need to add hops to balance the sweetness.

I care.

Just got home from taking the 4 yr old to the lhbs to pick up the ingredients for my next 3 batches. MIL took the 6 yr old with her, thankfully. Just cracked a Bigfoot for the first beer of the night.

That looks sick with the white!:rockin:

Drinking Pizza Boy Sunny Side Up I <3 U. Bourbon Barrel aged coffee stout with raspberries added. Not wasting any time of this one. Absolutely amazing!

That's sounds delightful.

I am drinking an Arctic Panzer Wolf (bottled on 2/26) while I work on some prints to rebuild my porch from the eMAW bomb zdbrown1 hit me with..

Hb vanilla cream ale. I taste no vanilla... Lhbs has not worked for me on this one. It also needs some more time to carb, its only a week in the bottle.

Hinterland Maple Bock with a side of Turkey sausages and sauerkraut cooked in Rhine wine. All goes down quite well together.

Since I finally am caught back up from this ungodly busy weekend here is what I have had tonight. A Sweetwater 420 (my last), 2 large pints of HB Citra IPA, a large pint of HB Amber Bock and, well, that's it.
Along with a big bowl of leftover smoked pulled pork sauteed with butter, garlic and onions on top of pasta. Seemed weird when I threw it together but was damn tasty.

ImageUploadedByHome Brew1394157622.420905.jpgfirst time having anything with Kohatu hops. Very pineappley and a bit tart (lemon/lime). Looked up a description and one of them said "sweaty pineapple pants".

I wasnt sure if I'd like a smoked saison, but it was pretty dang good actually.

I picked up the Matt's Burning Rosids a few weeks ago. Kinda been ignoring it. Every time I go for something I see it, reach for it and then have second thoughts. Maybe I'll wait till warmer weather and share it with someone while grilling some food.

A real pilsner sounds really good right now. Never tried to make one though. Maybe I should fix that....

mine was a scaled up extract kit from NB. the only thing I didn't flocc up on was the starter. boy, I had one hell of a starter!

edit: I scaled it up myself from 5 to 8 1/2 gallons so I could use my heated/cooled conical to ferment in. the cooling doesn't work too well below 8 gallons.

Water. In about 30 going to be cracking a 40$ bottle of beer with my friend...quack quack
