If I were in you neck of the woods, I'd happily help you unload and I would be very well behaved and I'd stay out of your stash.

If you offered me a glass of something, between the cool stuff you do with rice, the ginger beer, the orangecello (or however you spell that) and your house brown and wheat ales, my brain would likely suffer the blue screen death. There's a lot to choose from and some of it is absolutely unique. Again, I think you run the most eclectic and just pain fascinating brewery that I'm aware of. It's always a joy to see what you're up to!

I tapped the Ron Pattinson '71 Boddington clone that I kegged on Sunday. Golly, this is good. I can't recommend it enough, it's a brilliant summer ale.

Start with the new company tomorrow. We're fond of saying we've worked for 6 different companies now, but same parking space. SkyWater bought the entire $4billion fully loaded semiconductor facility for $137million. Now that's a return on investment! Hope they know I only need them for a short time more!

I'd love to talk about hair but this left leg slowly became a "thing" to deal with...so I'm dealing.

I was blessed with very good hair genes from both sides. Full head at 58.

Finished bottling the imperial stout earlier. Cleaned up gear and put it away. Now tomorrow it's brew day, doing a malt liquor (similar to the AHA recipe).

Having a HB pale ale, followed by a Muenchner lager.

Edit: I reduced the file size and presto chango, it uploads! Apparently, the Oops Bogeyman no longer likes my 3-4MB image sizes.

Last bottle of my Grimbergen Double Ambrée clone. Malty, hint of caramel sweetness and dark fruit, 8%. Very tasty. It has held up very well, bottled 05/07/2020.

Here it is, the showdown of showdowns… Miller Lite vs Coors Light! Two of the biggest sellers in the country!

Before we get in too deep on this, I have to say that I’ve drank more Coors Light than any other beer. We’re talking tons of recycled aluminum Silver Bullets in the recycling bag, for years and years, long before I was into brewing and craft beers. Before that it was Miller Light. These really were the two beers I’ve had the most experience with. Yes, we drank everything, all types - but for everyday light beers, these were it.

Miller started it all. “Tastes great, less filling!” The others soon came into line. “No slowing down with the Silver Bullet tonight!” I really can’t tell you when I made the switch to Coors Light, it seemed like the thing to do at the time. I think maybe Olympia Beer’s progenitor Leopold Schmidt’s famous words, “The lighter the beer, the better it sells” must have made a mark on me. Coors did seem a bit lighter, and more refreshing, something that attracted me at the time. And we drank a lot of Oly too!

Today’s showdown features my favorite palette-cleansing niblets, Murrican salted peanuts! I know all you French drinkers, wine mostly - prefer your wussy little wafers and bread. For me, nothing fits chugworthy brews like good old fashioned roasted peanuts!

So what’s the real skinny here? From someone who has loved both of these beers in huge quantities? Well, after pouring, both have similar head and carbonation levels. About the only visual difference is Coors is maybe one click lighter on the SRM scale than Miller. Maybe that’s what attracted the younger, fresher and more “tuned-up” proto-Beermeister32 away from Miller and on to Coors in the first place!

Today, with a much more trained, refined and aged palette, I have to say I prefer the Miller Lite! It has a slightly more heavy beer flavor to me, the Coors seems lighter, with slightly Apple or Pear-like esters on the crusty old taste buds. These are both refreshing brews, I think with the experience of drinking light beers for 40 years, I’m just amazed that it took me so long for a comparison. Drawing down into the glass, the Miller Lite again has the Coors beat in the lacing department. Check it out!

So where do we go from here? Despite my love of Coors Light, I’ll be looking at those Miller Lites a lot more closely next time I’m loading a 36-pack into the cart! Enjoy!

Moving loaders got here at 9 am and started prepping. Truck got here at 11 and realized it was the wrong trailer! Took 3 hours to make the 1 hour round trip to get the right one. Started raining and the crew was ready to leave at 5 with less than half loaded. I looked at my weather app and told them it was stopping in a few minutes and would have an hour break so wait and keep working. Rain stopped, didn't come back, they left about 8 pm so we can leave tomorrow morning.
OT Tired, thirsty, ready to rest so another "moving martini". At least I found a skewer for my olives!

Today I’m back with a blender – Big Little Thing Imperial IPA from Sierra Nevada. Today’s blender uses my “fave” Budweiser Zero. Let me strap on the Beermeister32 brewer’s math crunching helmet and see what we come up with ..…. hmmm… Bud Zero plus 19.2 ounces IPA at 9.1% ABV... uuuhh… 1.7472 ounces total booze, 31.2 total ounces, works out to be a 5.6% ABV net beer.

31.2 ounces of 5.6% liquid gold, that’s like about three conventional beers. Delicious!

Yes, I know, a bunch of you want “them big brews”…! 9.1 IPA’s. I enjoy stretching out my beer drinking to a more conventional 5-6% ABV range most of the time. Sometime I’m in the mood for a 9.1% slugger, mostly I’m interested in slightly lighter brews.

So how does this IPA taste being blended? Terrific! No fear! Enjoy!

Two 4x8 U-Hauls, wife's SUV, the bed, back seat and passenger seat barely held it all. I'll have admit there may have been a few alcoholic beverages.
