Pregaming for NHC awards ceremony.
I cut back to weekends...no weight loss.
I naturally eat a lower carb fresh food diet also. But more likely, I have WAY more to lose so don't lose faith!I cut back to weekends...no weight loss.![]()
I’ll join you. Mine is almost gone.
I have two modified kegs, just for Weizen beer, to keep all the sediment in suspension. I inject CO2 when required to create a muddy storm to keep friends and neighbors happy. My Hefeweizen is starting to clear a bit, I need to give the keg a shake.

Thank you, sir! Once I saw that you posted above me, I considered editing my post to ask you how you handle this issue. In the past I shared your preference for Kristalweizen, but I'm really happy about the yeast flavor in this batch--I suppose due to the open fermentation.I have two modified kegs, just for Weizen beer, to keep all the sediment in suspension. I prefer Kristallweizen, not that muddy stuff.
Congrats! I actually shifted gears today and decided that my Panther Piss keg has no desire to die, so I'm going after the hefe keg instead.#1 Mild and I dumped the last half a glass and started kegging the German pils. Last pint best pint as always. Hopefully the novalager clears up a bit, the pils is fantastic very young which is surprising. I might harvest some of this.

It's a nice-looking Alt.Glass of Altbier
Brewed a few times, based on the alt recipe from BCS. This version has double the melanoidin & carafa 3 and uses WLP036
Probably more dunkel than alt, delicious none the less
Next time I brew this, will drop the carafa III and melanoidin (replacing with Munich1/2) and keep WLP036
Prost!
With a keg freed up, it's time for fermenter dregs from my batch of Ron Pattinson's '71 Bodingtons clone. It's a great summer bitter recipe and I can't recommend it enough.

Not sure what to do with this big happy cake of Fullers. It's a little early in the year to start my Fall brown and robust porter program. Maybe a dry stout? I like those in the summer.
That's a great suggestion, but the gravity is a bit high with July and August leering over the fence at me. My dry and low gravity brewery tends to get really low gravity and very dry during the months of humid misery for this West Coast transplant. Yes, I'm a weenie.Ever brewed a tropical stout? Good summertime refresher. I always loved Lion Stout (Sri Lanka), but haven't seen it here in years. Sort of like if an imperial stout and sweet English stout had a b*stard love child.

Meanwhile, down in Alabama, Rish is emptying his beer fridge and thinking, "Oh, Anchor Our Special Ale from 2023, this'll be perfect!"
I'm a wimp.
Oh, hell yeah!!!Let's road trip to Alabama and help @Rish empty that pesky fridge! It's the least we can do
