Just a few weeks will do wonders! Glad to hear!
One of the best Pilsners one can consume in my opinion.Today I’m turning it down a notch and relaxing with a real German brew, Bitburger Pils.
I guess this is a textbook case on how some of those faux German beers need to be brewed. Here we have a nice and traditional German Pilsner, Hallertau hops, 1516 Reinheitsgebot compliant, a nice amount of head, crystal clarity and good lacing. Most styles need these basics – it’s part of the “fit and finish” you expect in a good solid Teutonic brew! Domestic brewers clue in!
Bitburger has been here before, it is a nice, predictable, 4.8% ABV Pilsner out of Bitburg, Germany. This is what you order next time with your bratwurst and spaetzle…. Ein Pils Bitte!

Have you tried their yearly release of Cairdeas? Every year is a new variance but they're really good and I wouldn't say similar to their base. It's a good try at a good price. I've been able to get it at crazy pricesVery tasty Islay single malt. Sweet, smooth, smoke (not as much as the 10 year but definitely there). 40 proof.

Heal fast TP!!!Story time. Couple weeks back did a 4 and then a 5 mile walk and strained my calf. It was feeling much better and really no signs of issues until I was walking...yes walking... out to the car at lunch. Something popped there and I about dropped to the ground. Signs all point to the Achilles tendon but Dr. appointment tomorrow. Anyway, beer...

My wife was watching me pretty closely! But did you get her number??
I haven't. I usually have to go outside AL to find the best stuff so it's usually just luck when I find something like that. Sounds like something I'd like to try.Have you tried their yearly release of Cairdeas?

I have that coming up for our clubs summer brew challenge. Either a German or Czech Pils. I’m drinking a couple now for “research”One of these days I'll summon the courage to brew a BoPils, like an Urquell clone. No covering for mistakes in those beers.
If you're ever in Europe, order a pour of Budvar Budweiser. A little slice of pure heaven. You can get it here (called Czechvar, for trademark reasons), but it loses something after the long voyage in green bottles.
Plantaris tendon rupture...you'll be fine in about 6 weeks. Don't ask me how I know.Story time. Couple weeks back did a 4 and then a 5 mile walk and strained my calf. Haha I’m glad it worked out for you. When I opened my bag of that lot, I was so pumped that it was as dank as it was. I haven’t got that really dank Columbus in a a whileHB NEIPA "Dank Juice"....appropriately named, Columbus, Citra and Amarillo Cryo. Tastes like drinking MaryJane, in a very View attachment 874126good way. This is the Columbus from @Dgallo 's suggestion a month or two ago. I've learned that if Dom suggests something, it has to be good ;-). Now I have to teach my friends that hops and MJ are from the same distant plant class...
