Pondering dumping this "NEIPA" but still has tropical flavors. I've paid high dollar for worse...

I feel you. It really gets under my skin when a beer doesn't turn out right, but I think you're looking at it the right way--there's a lot of expensive, subpar beer out there in the world and, as homebrewers, very little of it is in our kegs.

You'll nail it next time! :bigmug:

Beer guns are a game changer for sharing or saving long term. Nice upgrade!
This was the second time using it. My beer and bottles were both cold it just went more smoothly than the first time accept for a few things during set up. But that story belongs in the don’t do that thread. 🤣

This limited edition variation on our original “Palmovka 12°” Pilsner pays tribute to the origins of the style and the rich tradition of Plzň by featuring two heirloom yeast strains, floor malted Czech Pilsner malt, and whole leaf Czech Saaz hops. Decocted, and boiled adhering to a Czech-style schedule and lagered extensively in one of our horizontal tanks. Notes of fresh baked bread and floral hops hold sway, and an expressive yeast character melds with light honey and hay on the palate. Palmovka Speciální has a soft mouthfeel with crisp carbonation that beckons for another sip. Na zdraví!

Drove from Saint John, NB, to Halifax, NS today. Some hiking in Fundy Nat'l Park, and a visit to Hopewell Rocks.

Lunch at a little diner near Moncton, NB.

Off to explore the South Shore of NS tomorrow. We'll be looking for good lobster rolls or some scallops.

Hoegaarden and Guinness at Pickwick's pub in Lucerne, Switzerland. My first visit in 47 years. The wife is at our hotel letting the fluid drain out of her legs.View attachment 857071
My wife has the same issue when we travel. Both the fluid retention and the husband already installed at the bar.

Drinking this ahead of my trip to their brewery and others starting tomorrow.

I plan to swing by Equilibrum Friday night after work on my way home. Hopefully I can get there by 4:30ish. I think you will enjoy their joint in Middletown.
Enjoyed these tonight back at the hotel room. It was a long day.
Lightning DIPA by Mortalis and Fuzzy Baby Ducks, it’s been five years since I’ve had the ducks.

Drove around the South Shore of NS.
Stopped in Lunenburg for seafood chowder and a lobster roll for lunch, with a local version of English ESB.

Then went to the taproom next door (Shipwright Brewing) for a pint of white stout. Tasted like a mouthful of dirt. Could barely drink about half.

Headed to North Brewing, just outside Halifax, for a nice pint of some "session ale" and some masala fries.
