644 by a mile. More to style. The 001 was interesting but not as punchy and more biscuity.

A closely related phenomenon in the keg world is that a keg that you really need/want to kick will last for weeks whereas a keg that you're trying to extend will kick within days.
My pineapple ginger booch poured about 20 minutes ago.
From the 12 Beers of Christmas 2022. Some of the original flavors have muted, but others have entered into their space and it's just a nice afternoon beer: solid bitter with slight honey aftertaste, citrusy-earthy nose, and the teeniest of ginger burn throughout. I think this was from @TBC.

What the Hell, let's keep the 12 Beers of Christmas 2022 theme going! While I wait for the boil to come up, here is "I am Gruit." I think this is @GoodTruble. The malt richness is balanced by the smoothness of the herbal mixture which shall remain a mystery. Pretty sure if you ask, the response would be, "I'd tell you, but then I'd have to kill you." So glad I had a bottle left of this one.

After 3 years and many many many beers I finally got my mug at my local in Boston’s Mission Hill. Still needs to be engraved….. but a sticker will suffice for now.

Lychee Nectar wine. I think it needs a bit of sweetening because it is DRY.

Yes it would be. This combination is my favorite if I had a press I might get more juice from fresh pineapple trimmings. I only make 2 16s at a time.

A “pretend it’s 1999” hb pale ale. It could be better. Fresh us-05 is never as good as a repitch.

New HBer at work. His Scottish Ale with Oak Spirals soaked in Crown Royal for 2 weeks and aged for 4 weeks.
Punch in the face! Hoppy and sweet.
