North Coast recommends serving at 60*F which I haven't been doing. Tried it today and you definitely get more intense aromas and flavors but it's a strange sensation to me to drink a beer that warm. Waaayy better than Coors would be at that temp!

Just finished a bottle my son gave me for my birthday ... enjoy .

Trying a sample of my Imperial Sprucetip Porter, and I'm happily surprised after 13 days of fermentation! 1.150ish - 1.040 tonight. Wow~!

Very clean finish, coffee in the nose and a smoky flavour, with a slight 'sprucey' citrus/astringent aftertaste + a hit of chocolate. This might be a long-term bottle project with the other half into the keg! Guess I saved it!

Had to run some errands in town this morning (Harlem. MT, pop. 600) and picked up a few things at Albertson’s including a Kettlehouse variety pack. I wish I still had my pre Covid palate. Mosaic is one of my favorite flavor hops and I think this is really good.

Ekuanot Enthusiasm, an ipa from Silva Brewing in Paso Robles. Chuck Silva used to be the brewer at Green Flash in San Diego but moved back home to Paso a few years ago. I don't know what it is about ekuanot hops but all I ever seem to get out of them is a minerally, chalky taste.

HB Foreign Export Stout. It’s nearing the end of the keg. Two things indicate this...

1. It tastes awesome
2. The keg is very light
