The cream ale style beer made with Vienna malt versus 2-row brewer's malt and Voss kveik. View attachment 734292Arizonagoalie posted it in cream of three crops. Just kegged and bottled and now drinking the 'sample' even flat tasty, a maltier cream ale. Now to wait to drop clear.

HB kveik honey blonde.

Bottled a litre at kegging time 3 months ago and set it aside. 2 months cold conditioning and it's noticeably different than the kegged version (long gone by now). There's a little something extra you get from natural bottle carbonation. If it wasn't such a ball-ache, I'd still be bottling all of my batches.

Nice. I made one recently and used 6-Row for about half of the base malt. It worked out well so I think I'll try again with all 6-Row base next time.
