It wasn’t overcarbed, i poured a little hard and it did have a persistent head. It had a nice malt in there. But I don’t think a year of age does any favors for a beer with such low abv.

I use this paint and make stencils with my wife’s vinyl cutter. Apply stencil, brush with paint, remove stencil, let dry for 1 hour then bake in 350° oven to cure paint. I’m still struggling with the timing of removing the stencil... do it too soon and it smears the paint and if it dries too long, it sticks to the stencil and peels off the glass. I’m sure there’s a better way, but I haven’t figured it out yet.

How'd you do the PB?

I did a few Oz of pb2 at the end of the boil just to say I did, then I used 1.75oz of brewers best pb flavor at bottling time. It was a 1 gallon batch. I think that’s where most of the flavor came from.

Split the sour with my wife earlier. Then a pull from the keg, followed by a local DIPA collab with two breweries in Rochester, NY followed by another pint or two from the keg will playing virtual games with friends over a video call.

They used to, but a lot of their recipes seem to have shifted with the trend. Wish they still canned Golden Nugget.
