Right now I'm drinking Fresca. But I noticed this morning that the carboy of apple wine that had a lot of crabapple jelly in it in the utility room has finally cleared (I added some pectic enzyme about a week ago after the Polyclar didn't do anything.) Think I might pull some out with a wine thief and see what I got. If it's good, I'll pull a big glassful out and bottle the rest. Two weeks ago I stabilized it and added just enough sugar to take the edge off without making it sweet. It tasted pretty good but looked awful.

Taft Stout Nitro from Farnam House Brewing in Omaha. Really quite nice.

HB English bitter in my 2013 Barker Mug

There is something special about drinking English inspired ales out of my Barker mugs.

Barker bar, at Sunday River, has always carried a tap of Old Thumper. They swapped it out for half a season, and the Barker locals made sure it was brought back.

Barker Bar has always carried Shipyard Prelude and in previous years Geary’s HSA.

These are some of my favorite styles. When I brew an English style ale at home I always like to drink it out of one of my Barker Mugs

The new season starts for me in 2 weeks after a quick trip to RVA

A vanilla stout and neipa varient 1 at a new brewery Great Marsh Brewery in Essex, MA. Great and horrible location. A nice two story glass building with beautiful east and west views over the river and marsh. Bad thing is it's in the middle of a long bridged causeway with about a 20 car sized lot on an insanely busy road. I bet the views are great during the day
