I bought a 6-pack of Boatswain DIPA at Trader Joe's. I've had it before, but it's been a couple of years. I knew it wasn't great beer, but something has changed since last time I bought it. Now it's like a cross between Hurricane and similar overly-strong malt liquors and a really bad attempt at a Belgian golden strong. I won't be buying it again.

But I have figure out that it's drinkable if you mix one with a same size can of Natural Ice. (might be better with a 16 oz can of Natty. Or a 12 oz really hoppy lager, but that might waste a *good* beer) So that's what I'm drinking right now.

Ohhhhhhh wow. Without a doubt one of the best neipas I've ever had.. Mosaic and Idaho7 hops. One of my favorite breweries, Fieldwork, collaborated with Pure Project (San Diego), to brew one kickass beer. This one is special.
