My Few barrel aged RIS... I just finished a double brew day. I scored a fresh ten gallon bourbon barrel from Chicago Distillery and I needed to fill it. So I pulled a two hour mash and a 4 hour boil after I racked a 1/2 barrel brew of a strong citra wheat beer.
I'm going to stand up one last time to refill my beer and pour an EH Taylor bourbon.
Cheers to long brew days!
That was my first all grain beer, got the grain at the bells general store. I've made it a few times and I think it's always better bottle conditioned with a bit of age! Cheers
Holy crap, magnesium fire doesn't sound fun what so ever. Thanks for the share I hope they get it under control and don't add more water to the flames haha
