We went hiking with some friends today at the Devil’s Hole Gorge Trail in Niagara Falls NY today and then stopped at the falls afterwards. Afterwards we went swimming and shared some beers. What a great day but exhausted after being up at 4am to start our adventures.

Little extra smoke for the lungs while doing yardwork today. Pretty much 80 miles in a north, south and west position from me are major fires.

nice, good to hear. I made a gallon earlier this year and I’ve tweaked a bit. Super excited to brew again the moment my basement cools off

Thanks. Looks can be deceiving however. This version used cold steeped roasted added late in the boil. There is an ashy taste in this one that takes away from the rest of it. It’s drinkable, but needs to be refined. I squeezed the grains after the steep thinking that I needed the extra dark liquid, but I think that was a mistake. Next batch will be using a different brand of roasted barley and I won’t squeeze them.

My friends beer who’s starting a small brewery. It’s a crusher of a beer on a 90 degree day. So it hits the spot!

Total Wine carries a lot of DT beers. This assumes there is one somewhere near you.

I live in Canada, we don't have a Total Wine, but thanks for the suggestion! most of our booze that isn't locally made is sourced through our government run liquor stores. If they don't carry it (which they don’t) then you likely won't find it. At least I can get the draft!
