Carb tester of my Hydromel while sparging. The overdose of black pepper is a shame, because this would be REALLY good otherwise. And it's not as bad as I thought it would be. From that first gravity sample I thought it was going to be undrinkable. Nope. Just very, very peppery.

Smacked about 7 or 8 bees. Have to pull this holly bush from in front of the house. Bees love it on warm days.

Listening to the Spurs/Anderlecht Europa League match on a neighbor's wifi hot spot via my phone (since I still have no cable, tech was here replacing line this morning, still hasn't found the problem, will be back in an hour or two).
