Chateau de Durette Julienas 2017 red wine from Beaujolais region. Great gamay wine for the price (16 euros including world's highest alcohol taxation & monopoly pricing). Highly acidic and rather tannic, but there is a lot of tasty & vivid berry character to balance things nicely. Not overwhelming and definitely not oaky! Would be great with lamb or poultry and would be tasty with salmon as well.
Enjoying a blend of three kegged neipas, resulting in a total juice bomb with Citra, Mosaic, Galaxy, El Dorado, Simcoe, Chinook and Apollo hops. Marvelous!
Not really sure what to call this... It`s HB, own recipe, some sort of a munchener KSA, 8.6% ABV, tasted like turpentine soaked raisins after three weeks but has transformed completely after that!
Having some afternoon coffee and went to go check on my lager at the 36-hour Mark which looked quiet this morning and now is going nuts. I didn't know a lager could get that kind of krausen at 48 degrees!! I'm glad I put it in a 7 gallon fermonster!
