Staying funky

Black dawn started foaming as soon as I opened it so I tried to gently pour into the glass and that happened. Turns out it was overcarbed, but solid once you get past that.

Bro mine did the same thing last night. It was like soda fizzy. I’ve had it on draft 100 times and it’s really good. Overcarbed in a can is tough to get through Just shows you that Thomas hooker sucks

My god. This is the beer lover’s beer. If you love a nice pickling brine on the front end followed by a harsh mouthfeel and burnt popcorn body, you’re in for a treat. A smooth squid-like finish seals the deal, this beer is one for the ages! The only thing that might make it any better was if it were a year or two fresher. Thanks again, @afro_lou !!

Kinda bummed they started going into the smaller format for the Lineage stuff. 7 bucks a bottle....I’ve passed on that the past few time I’ve dropped in at Fort Port.....how is it?

Its good. But like most of their sours, I feel that it needs more. Too subtle. Too one dimensional. Good beer, but I would go for a few other places sours first.

That said, I have 3 more that I am either keeping or only trading to a good home bc it is a well done sour. I am just spoiled.

Agreed on their sours. I lived pretty close to fort point for a while. My wife works on Summer St and I work over by Fenway so I get to drink their stuff often. I did just picked up all 4 Super Soaks for a buddy this week and we are planning a bottle share night. I haven’t tried the super soaks yet so I’m curious if the 72 bucks for 4 bottles was worth it.....well for him ....Hahahahahhahahaha

My shop gets away with $20+/- a bottle for their experimental sour funk. Yeah, I have all of them...tucked far away from consumables. Maybe I'll stick one in a Fxxx trade, probably not.

I’m hooking like 3-4 people up with some cork/cage ageable sours from MT.

edit - I think I sent you some in LOT?
