If you consider SA non-bmc ;)

At less then 1% market share I think that qualifies as non-BMC..But then again those are old numbers so maybe SA is above 1% market share now?

Anyway, I am having THE perfect IPA(at least according to my half-smacked taste buds) and that is my HB Zombie Dust clone! :) Need to order some more grain and a bit more Citra and do that one again soon!

For starters I like the look of your brew..

but I think they are above 1℅ or greater of market, even 1% is quite large.. I like several of their beers don't get me wrong but they are just like BMCs trying to catch onto the trends of brews

I've moved to a different bar (still in Evansville) but enjoying a Two Hearted which I don't think anyone would claim is BMC. :)

Drinking SA rebel IPA at a casino bar in Evansville, IN. Only non-BMC on tap....

I know you're nowhere near Hammond but I love going to the casino there.. I think Horseshoe? They are stocked with Three Floyds. Really nothing better than playing the slots with a zombie dust in hand smoking a cigar.

Not drinking it RIGHT now, but last night I had a friend over for a homebrew tasting, and as a thanks he brought me a can of Heady Topper, my first. And I gotta say... I wasn't blown away. Based on other NEIPAs I've had, I expected more a lighter, more citrusy dry hop character, but instead it was pretty resinous, with a good dose of what seemed like early kettle bitterness. Combined with the expected characteristic thickness off the yeast, I found the result a little... well... muddy. Is it just me?

Perk of where I live and work :ban:

Unfortunately beer league racing is over for the year

Breck?

I need a beer. Hag it is. Smacked.

Edit: I noticed you live in Michigan. I've snowboarded outside of Traverse City (biz trip, brought my gear with me) and it took 10-12 seconds from the top of the mountain (pathetic hill) to the bottom. Worst snowboarding ever. Thank God it was on company dime. Michigan is flat as ****. I need a beer.

Might seem silly but New Belgium finally just started distribution to Massachusetts and in excitedly Enjoying my first ever Fat Tire that I've purchased in my home state. It's an oldie but goodie.

Yes, up North a ways of Traverse City. Still a small hill in the scheme of things but have 3 options within 30 miles that are all over 500 ft which equates to runs of 1-3 mins generally. Bout the best you can get in the Midwest. We also operate mountains all over the country including Sunday River, Sugarloaf and Loon out your way.

Mtn Dew from lunch...I need a beer ASAP

Seems legit. Hate hills, though. Can I buy you a beer? Flocc.

Having nothing but the best. Drank so much, I can't hear out of my left ear. Kidding but not kidding.

Smacked.

View attachment 391322successful stop at the local package store in new haven. Sos right off the truck. And super curious about this years hop swap. Has cashmere and comet which I plan on growing plants of this year

Nice score, brother. Curious as to what the SOS was priced at. You know how some of these fools in stores are in regards to over-pricing the **** out of certain beers. I get SOS for $13.99/4-pack.

I need another Sea Hag.

Actually got it for $13.99 for the first time ever in my life. The hop swap was like 15$. But it's the only sebago that I like

My Red Irish ale. Still needs some keg conditioning. Also I might shave fermented at a littler higher temp then I wanted got some more sweeter notes but it's conditioning out very nicely. Could have made it a little lighter color but it hits the spot. Used the Omega Irish yeast. Liking it prob would like it more if I fermented it around 65F
