My second chub ever. I liked the first one quite a lot... Left me wanting more.
That's what she said!

I love this beer!
On to my 3rd pint of Bluebird clone since getting home. I suppose I can have a few more before I need to leave for homebrew club meeting. It's walking distance anyway.
Stupid floccing welding shop. Floccin eyes burned. Back and hands hurt. Cant wait to quit that Floccin job.
Sorry, I needed that. Picked up a growler of SN Hop Hunter. Its good.
Wife not home today or are you only drinking part of what you pour?
Water before going to den meeting - tonight it will be a visit to the Boy Scout meeting.
View attachment 255710 Took Hefe to lhbs: said there is no plastic flavor. It is not infected and it doesn't taste bad, just not what you expect a Hefe to be. She said it has a little fruity esther to it and is likely from the yeast and thin mouthfeel from lack of grains.
I had a hefe turn out like that before too. I used Citra hops, and it was a dumper. Fermentation temp may have been too high, but that's all I could ever conjure.

How did you burn your eyes? Are you doing the welding? Wear protection and if someone else is welding don't look, common sense
Hope you're ok, the few I've known that have done it says it really sucks.
HB IPA, busy!
In brewing classic styles, they actually say the best hefes resulted from fermenting at 62
This is fantastic! Now i know why bucknuts likes it so much. Thanks Jon!

I can tell you from quite a bit of experience that you can use adequate eye protection, but after a full day of welding pretty much non stop, your eyes still burn after work. I actually enjoyed welding a lot. But I don't miss burnt eyes, clothes, skin and the occasional hot welding wire piercing through the glove and into a finger from missed hand eye coordination.

Heard lacing will get you points in beer comps. @qhrumsohogfffup @tobyg true?

At Old Ox Brewery, having a Kristen's Passion Mexican Hot Chocolate Porter
Just a half-pint for now, but I'm pretty sure I'll be walking out with a bomber
