Ok I feel dumb for asking, but what is a tertiary? Is it just a fancy word for a secondary with fruit it in? Looking at making a strawberry blonde as well and everything calls for a tertiary.

OT: Coffee before football.

A third fermenter, or fermented in bottles.

I ferment in primary, rack onto the fruit for secondary (or just throw it in primary if not reusing yeast), then rack to tertiary (another better bottle) to clear before kegging. Helps get any extra sediment out.

This.

Finishing breakfast stout after a quickie. :D. Time to leave.

Football stadiums I need to go to for a game before I die:

Lambeau (only if it's snowing, and only during the playoffs)

Ralph Wilson in Buffalo. ****ing loud!

Honorable mention: Kansas City

Gravity samples of my 100% Brett beers. Brett L went much further (0.75) than the Brett B (2.75). The Brett L is probably pretty much done, the Brett B may drop a little more (but it was also higher original gravity, and more highly hopped). Anyone with more experience with 100% Brett know if they just attenuate differently? They're going to get racked over in a week for an additional month in secondary (one with cherries, the other with a small dry hop towards the end) anyway, but I'm curious if I should expect the Brett B to drop a little further (which it seems it should drop below the 1.010/2.5 mark).
