Full Throttle... was drunk and in bed by 8:45 last night, lol. Wife's been having rough/early nights, so I joined her.

Feeling well rested.

Coffee and football.

Coff.

What did you think of this beer this year? The ones I had weren't bad, but not outstanding like the last couple of years. A little too sweet, IMHO.

Yeah, a bit sweeter, a little less depth.

Hell of a trip you took. Interesting being on the othe side of the world, huh?

Thanks. I like that side of the world, wish it had been for less than two days a stop.

Coffee, stirring the suitcase before getting ready for another airplane ride tomorrow, in the opposite direction.

Water. Half way through the boil on this double ipa. :DView attachment 304386

Will it be old when you can drink again?

Drinking at 9am considers me a alcoholic. I do not know who came up with that rule. Waiting for a vigar shop to open and then im heading back home

Getting hosed into going to Swmbo's brother's house to watch the game this afternoon. ****ty part is they live right by the stadium, so we'll be competing with drunks to get home later. Wtf?

Had a sample of my pineapple blonde as I racked to tertiary and my strawberry blonde while racking it to the keg. About to pour a breakfast stout before we go.

Ok I feel dumb for asking, but what is a tertiary? Is it just a fancy word for a secondary with fruit it in? Looking at making a strawberry blonde as well and everything calls for a tertiary.

OT: Coffee before football.

A third fermenter, or fermented in bottles.

I ferment in primary, rack onto the fruit for secondary (or just throw it in primary if not reusing yeast), then rack to tertiary (another better bottle) to clear before kegging. Helps get any extra sediment out.

This.

Finishing breakfast stout after a quickie. :D. Time to leave.

Football stadiums I need to go to for a game before I die:

Lambeau (only if it's snowing, and only during the playoffs)

Ralph Wilson in Buffalo. ****ing loud!

Honorable mention: Kansas City
