There is a place out of St Pete that makes all kinds of fruit wines/sparkling wines, I can't speak of the quality. www.floridawine.com
Looks like it's distro'd all over the state.

great info! Thanks Allen.

they will have some Funky Buddha at one of the pavilions that I'm looking for. At last check, Cigar City was being sold at some of the resorts, which would be much fresher then what I'm finding it at some shops lol. I'm looking forward to some Florida stuff, for sure

Try to stop by Knighly Spirits while you are down, 10 minutes from Disney proper via SR417 (toll road), they usually have some pretty good stuff. The owner is tight with CCB, they make an exclusive BA line just for them, el Campeador, so they usually have some decent stuff there.

Now that sounds like a plan! Thanks for the tip

That reminds me, I need to check on my pineapple wine. Might be close to time to bottle and wait a couple years for it to be ready.

What abv did you get out of yours and what yeast did you use? I have 3 carboys taking up space and need to start some projects. I have to use the tangelo juice I froze from the fruit off my grampas tree soon. I just wish the desert wildflower honey wasn't so expensive.

Jack Keller has never steered me wrong. Used his recipe. Made 6 gallons with 15 pineapples and a 10lb bag of sugar. For the life of me, I cannot find where I wrote down my OG. It has been freakin killing me. I remember taking the reading, but don't remember where I wrote it.

Here were the Florida local ones that caught my eye

–3 Daughters St. Pete Beach Blonde Ale, St. Petersburg, FL
–Florida Beer Company Passport 20 Belgian-Style Tripel Ale, Cape Canaveral, FL
–Funky Buddha Vanilla Espresso Porter, Oakland Park, FL
–Shipyard Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout, Clearwater, FL

They were all offered on one flight, too...perfect!
My list of things to try at the festival is just staggering. One of the most interesting things is a smoking hibiscus featuring Montelobos Mezcal.

3 Daughters is pretty hyped right now, from what I've had from them, they are ok. But, in typical Florida fashion, they could be murdering it in the tap room.
Drink any seasonal you can get from Funky Buddha, even if you don't care for the style, it's pretty amazing what flavors they can get into a beer. Blueberry Cobbler and Sweet Potato Casserole are currently still around, not sure when you will be down here.
