We always got Mexico and COPA to fall back on. Plus it beats living in that whole area of purgatory where north meets south. Luckily Texas was its own republic and only happened to be a victim of circumstance. A place where the North wishes they were more like us and South envies they were as strong as us!

This area sucks, won't deny that. But better than Texas. If for no other reason than I hate hot and humid. It's bad enough here. Don't know how people in the DFW area survive.

My wife's family is here. Otherwise I'd be out to somewhere north. Or west. But not south.
 
Is it bad form not to tip room service after a 20% service charge, $3 delivery fee plus tax?

Considering that the people delivering probably see f*** all from those charges and fees, and probably get paid f*** all outside of tips, I'd say yeah, it's bad form. If the management nickels and dimes you, don't take it out on the people doing the actual work.

Good that I ended up tipping her 25% then!
