Lamp= Bourbon

Hows about a sour stout? Best of both worlds! I am having one of each tonight. A sour and a stout.

I just bottled my sour stout. I love it. I'm getting bottles together for my Brett Rye White IPA soon. Got another brett beer I need to bottle too. Need to brew another sour, and another brett soon..... Also got 15 gallons of a quad that is going into a bourbon barrel when ever i get it.

I'm not completely sold on sour stouts yet. I liked Tart of Darkness, and Madrugara Obscura(sp?) Was alright. But I think I need more convincing before I brew a whole batch

I poured a stout that had gone sorta vinegary. I was saddened at first but really started liking it. That is what small batches are for in Carlo Rossi jugs. Make one up and let her sit. Worst case scenario, it tastes like the wine that came in the jug originally.

Stout is not a season, it's a year-long thing. Man up!

Root beer. Plumber is coming in 20! I'm so god damned excited I could burst!

No, feeling you may burst means you have been drinking a touch much Root Beer. It is only making you think its due to the plumber coming.

Haha, I dare you to sit outside and drink a yeti in full sun when it's 118F. ;) most of us (well most of us should) eat seasonally, so why not drink seasonally?

Afternoon Coff.

Im tired of bottling and all i need is a tank and regualtor to start kegging. Im going to look at a 5 gallon tank and regulator i found on craigslist- $50 for the tank and $40 for the Reg- good deal? i feel that is alot to ask for a used regulator since new they are around that price. Ill prolly just get the tank- he has 2- i dont know much about c02 tanks... could anyone help and inform me on what to look for on used c02 tanks?

Is the tank alum or steel? It will be dated. Is it current if not the you need to pay to have it certified. 50 isent a great deal and you're better off getting a larger tank where I fill mine the difference between a five and ten pound is only five dollars or so.
Coffee.

Onto this.. ImageUploadedByHome Brew1398197052.084458.jpg the pear actually comes through and gives it almost a sourness. The barrel flavor is subtle as well. Pretty tasty!
