Managed to fetch a keg from the garage this morning and I must say, this Cascada PA is a pleasant surprise. Now it's time to get ready for the rainpocolypse that is allegedly coming our way.

Started with my first apfelwein, by Finsfan. Really nice! Step up the cinnamon a little more and it would be killer!


Now a side by side by side of buffalo sweats. Regular, vanilla bean and fins' pumpkin.

This is really good too Ryan. The tall grass ones are a bit creamier, but I like the pumpkin one too. I think you're doing a good job on this.

Thanks! The list isn't done yet, they always have a bbl aged Dark Lord variant they announce near the event day (last year was 2011 vanilla bbl). And jj Wakefield announced a couple more beers today on faceplace.

Woo hoo! Friday night and birthday tomorrow! Popped into Trader Joe's to grab some milk and wound up mixing a sixpack. I'm starting with the Hoppyum from Foothills Brewing. The aroma is great and the initial hop flavor is too...then the bitterness hits. It's a little strong for me at first, but it tones down a little by about the third or fourth sip. I like the statement on the label with the ABV %, IBU, and SRM.

Nice! I'm glad he was able to get them for you. I'm hoping they have some of that La Vie en Rose for sale when I go. Probably won't, but I can always wish.
