Slightly chilled sample of my peach-pineapple tepache that I bottled tonight. Should be pasteurizing Monday morning, if the carb goes as expected. Flavor is sweet/tart...I like it! Not better than sex, but I'm 51 and with the same woman for 34 years, so it's more accessible when I want it!

After a couple HB Citra Pale Ale's a Green Flash Road Warrior, this beer is awesome. Perfect balance of malty, caramel, sweetness to balance the smooth hops and unbelievably drinkeable at 9%.

Tried to balance the bottle at an angle so I'd disturb the yeast less when pouring again. Bottle crashed down, thankfully didn't roll off the counter tho.

Gotcha. That beer is a great example of what Brett can do for a beer. Drink it young, it is flat out weird, age it for about a year and it's a Bretty-mess. Totally different experience.

Drinking an off-tasting irish red due to oxidation I believe. Don't keg beers when youre 6-10 deep.

Don't think I've ever had a Car Bomb. I had a Jaeger Bomb or two back in the day, and for being two of the nastiest liquids made for human consumption, they're not the worst thing in the world. But yeah, no thanks, at least not any more.

Any cocktail involving Irish Cream and curdling is not fit for human consumption.

The "Alien Brain Hemorrhage" is cool to look at (and cool chemically as far as what happens) but I've heard it tastes nasty as all get out.




Edit: drinking a big mug of Lapsang Souchong and then probably going to bed.
