Spotted this book at the Brickside Brewery in Copper Harbor. For any of folks traveling to the UP it might be a good read.

For the record, I wasn't impressed with the brews from Brickside but it was still worth a stop.

Tapped my first lager attempt yesterday. Figured the timing was perfect as my parents are in town and having a cold one with my dad has become a somewhat treasured tradition.

For some reason I anticipated this wouldn’t be as good as it is. You read all these stories about zero room for error with lagers, figure I’ll screw up somewhere and it will turn into a dumper cuzz…that thing (messing up) I can do!

We can certainly do a trade again. I have some stuff on me (all 3 versions of this stout) and an hazy ipa, possibly esb, and I just brewed a wet hop cold ipa today.

Blueberry lemon sour. Definitely get the blueberry but it's a tad sweet for me.
