I've approached the managers/owners of two local restaurants that serve good food but have a horrible beer selection with the following proposal: I point out that for me, your beer list will inhibit me from coming here more often. I remind them that there may be more people with my mindset. Then I made what I thought was my no lose proposal. Order one case of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale and one case of Sam Adam's Boston Lager. I'll come back in a month a buy every bottle of those two cases you haven't sold.
The manager of the Asian Fusion place pretty much paid me no mind; they were serving Japanese beers and that was that.
The owner of the Italian place started arguing with me. "I'm not going to do that. I'm not turning this place into an Irish pub." ??? All I wanted was a choice. A choice aside from Bud, Coors Light, Peroni, Heineken and one other European lager that I can't remember.
Haven't been to either since.

Turns out a pint Ball jar is very good for serving this beer. I am still waiting for my real beer glasses to arrive. This is much better than a tall, graceful glass.

Hb neipa, bad pic, half gone, delicious. 8% so double neipa I guess. 3 days in the keg, no hop burn and drinks like a 6%er .. citra, bru1 and galaxy.

So a lot of driving and having some great food and beer this weekend, all to pick our first rescue dog, he fits in great and our other 2 dogs are getting along nicely so far with him. Hes a 1 ish year old saint bernard currently a light 100lb, needs to pack on some pounds.

Yeah, I said "What the hell"? I mean s'mores in a stout makes sense, but a lager? I think someone may have had the munchies and came up with this bad idea...

A friend of there's brought over a mixed pack from this place and there were two of these in there. So he saved the other for me to try. It's nice to have friends who think of you and want to share the disgusting things with you too. LOL

Short pour of HB Irish Red after scraping about 500 lbs of ice off the floor of the garage. It’s just enough above freezing here today that I was able to get rid of all the stuff that has melted off our pickup and frozen to the floor over the last few weeks.
