Just a quick hello for my first post and then I'm jumping over to the DIY build section.

I've done a dozen or so brews with my friends BIAB set-up and instantly fell in love with the process. After 17 years of playing rugby I have now idea how home brewing evaded my life for this long...would've saved a LOT of money!

I have an electronic engineering back ground (automation) and am an 'A' gasfitter so building my own system won't be start small and add...I'm jumping in with both feet and will be posting progress shortly. HERM's with fully automated gas control set-up.

Cheers, eh

Welcome to HomeBrewTalk. Don't expect to save money on beer, especially if you want to put together a full bling system. But then, nobody really expects to save money by engaging in their hobbies. With brewing we just use the raw ingredients cost per pint to give a false justification to those we have to justify to. :D

Brew on :mug:

Oh, sure you can save money on the BEER, but not on The Brewing!

Sounds like you plan to have a lot of fun with the hobby, which, IMO, is the best reason of all.
