Okay, I am getting ready to take the plunge and put a thermometer in my brew kettle, but am kind of stumped. I currently don't weld, and am a bit leery of putting a weldless valve on the BK. That being said, I have run across weldlessfittings.com, which seems fairly legit. The problem is that they continuously out of stock of the fittings. Has anyone used this company, and are they just running hot on parts (sell out before they even get in), or is there a better place to get the equipment.

Additionally, is there a better source for a thermometer pass through, or even thermometer/sightglass?

TIA.

Thanks - I will probably go with BrewHardware (BobbyM). That being said, have any of you had reliability/leaking issues with the weldless kits?

None whatsoever. Just follow directions, use lots of teflon tape, and you'll be fine. I've done weldless on 2 kettles now (multiple valves, sight glasses, etc.), and have yet to see a drop leak out.
