I read this some time ago, but came across this again yesterday:

The idea is that a wort is fermented with a Hefe and a Pilsner yeast. This guy came up with a method of keeping the different yeasts to fight each other. Pretty intersting thing. But I'm not sure how long it takes until this will be available in the US.
