Went to bed last night with predictions of one or two inches of snow; woke up to almost one foot.

Sounds like you need to "get away" like the Southwest Airlines commercials say. Warm here now, mid 70s and sunny. See you soon![]()

No offence, but not bloody likely.
I'll take the occasional snowstorm over the regular hurricanes anytime.
With another one to three inches likely.![]()

Was it a guy, or girl who made the prediction?![]()
OK, but I think you get a LOT more snowstorms than we do hurricanes. Anyway, if you like the snow, you can have it all.
27 below this morning with a high of zero today and 25 below again tonight. This is one time I wish my #$%^@%& weatherman was wrong. Heating bill might cut into my beer money! Not! Got to have a few priorities. Still, cold is better than hurricanes and tornado's.
The snow on our roof is actually insulating our house and the heater is going on way less than usual at the teens outside.
Very little cuts into my beer/homebrew supplies money.
Heh. I recently used my boil kettle, March pump and a long hose attached to a rake handle to get hot water up to an ice dam to melt it.
It was +07*F yesterday & I was outside grilling steaks. I had to set my cider in the sun so it wouldn't freeze solid, as it was, it got a little slushy, but I didn't mind; refills helped to melt the ice in my mug.

Yesterday I hacked my way through 4 inches of solid ice to uncover the storm drain & carve a little 4" wide trench about 6' long from the storm drain to the small lake that formed in the street from meltwater; High temp of 34*F. I love the snow, but I'm not a fan of ice.
Regards, GF.
You guys are amateurs.
Live in Buffalo NY for a few winters. Then you can complain about snow.![]()
