Brian, we missed you on Saturday. Hope the pooch is OK.
The only animal in pain on Saturday was Brians hangover. :cross:

Just bought the Sam Choc Bock, cant wait to try it tonight...
Had a club meeting last night adn mentioned the Choc Bock and guys seem to think the bottle didn't match up to off the tap. Obviously a lot of beers are a bit better on draft but they were saying it was a dramitic difference for hte Choc Bock for some reason.
You'll have to let me know what you think.
Yeah that Loose Cannon is one tasty brew huh? The Hoppin' Frog BORIS was pretty damn good too.
I love the "EAC". I went there for the first time a few weeks ago but now its definitely one of new favorite places.
I would have called hime to see if he wanted to join us except I knew he was in sunny FL with you. Ask him to give me a call when he gets home and maybe we can hook up, I'm not working today or tomorrow.

Ooohh. my head hurts. I don't think it was the beers I had at the EAC so much as the two triples that I had when I got home (one of CapeBrrwings and some other unlabled sample that was left over after Saturday) that pushed me into hangoverland.
Hey! The EAC! How f'ing cool is that. One of the best beer bar's around with THAT as an acroynym! I love it! I'm thiinking that based on that alone we need to hold the next get together of the 'New England Brewers' ( a group I just formed 4 seconds ago) at the EAC.

I had a couple bottles of this, drank one after buying it. It was okay, nothing fantastic and DEFINITELY not worth the ~16 bucks per bottle that I paid. It just felt a little thin and lacking that wonderful mouthfeel that I love about bocks...I still have another bottle and am waiting for a reason to open it.
Hey Chris,
I'm heading over to the EAC tonight around 11:30 after work...
This kind of off topic but my Brew club is getting ready to do another bulk grain buy. Last time it was approximately 28 bucks for 2 row and 35 bucks for marris otter. That pricing was for 55 lb bags. I will post in the all grain section too. If anyone in the boston area is intersted please PM me.
Hmm.. maybe I'll head down to meet up with you for a few beers...
1.049 right now after a good stir.
We missed you, we REALLY needed another Brian there that day.
But to make it up to you, I have a proposal. Drinkswellwithothers and I met at the East Ave Cafe in Pawtucket tonight and founded the EAC Drinking Club. For a limited time only the EAC Drinking Club is accepting new members. We plan an open enrollment night for Monday February 16th at EAC Headquarters at 6 pm.
Marc and I voted and I was elected Generalisimo for Life of the EAC Drinking Club and he was elected Chancellor of the Bottle Opener. We celebrated our inaugeration with a bottle of Madame du Bourginoin Flemish Ale.
So all local area HBT'ers and any other ne'er do wells are invited to meet up with us on 2/16 at 6 pm at EAC Headquarters, East Ave, Pawtucket.
Let me know if I need to reserve a few tables.

ps,
I took it easy on you tonight, Chris. Didn't drive by to honk hello. Don't count on my being so kind and understanding in the future.
I'm only Uncle Paul for Baby Lurch.
We're calling it the Ewok for now.![]()
