Hi, im planning to brew yoopers oatmeal stout from ro water.
I used bru n water to come up with the following mash and finished water profiles
mash ca78 na18 so4 29 cl42 Hco3 179
finished ca77 na14 so4 28 cl38 Hco3 163
after boiloff (28%) ca99 na18 so4 36 cl49 Hco3 209 I think!
salt additions
1.4g gypsum
1.7g cacl(anhydrous)
0.7g baking soda (mash)
1.1g pickling lime(mash)
for a 15L batch
Does this look ok? im aiming for a mash ph 5.5
this is my first AG stout so not really sure
I already ordered the grains mixed in the same bag so cant cold steep the roast grains
Looking forward to some expert advice!
cheers
