Hi all,
Kinda new to all grain brewing & would like to try my hand at washing & storing some yeast from a batch I transferred into secondary yesterday using the washing method described in the sticky above.
I was too tired to do it at the end of the day so I stuck a solid stopper on each of the 6 gal carboys & left them overnight at room temps with about 1/2" of wort still on top of the yeast cakes. This morning I cracked the stoppers & there was some pressure in both of them. Is there still time to salvage/wash the yeast if I get to it today?
Thanks in advance
Great forum! I'm learning a lot!
